Residing above a beautiful sandy beach, lays a high-end hotel with stunning sea views, two onsite restaurants and phenomenal spa and leisure facilities including sheltered outdoor hot tubs which allow guests to enjoy the views at any time of year, surrounded by warming bubbles—the Nare really is luxury at its best.

The Nare also has its own yacht and motor launch for guests to enjoy the scenic views of the Fal River. The Nare is both family and dog friendly, making it an extremely versatile and opulent hotel in a prime location of Cornwall’s Roseland.

Client’s Vision

The Nare has enjoyed an excellent and long-standing relationship with Hotel Perfect for the past 15 years. The hotel has a fantastic reputation throughout the UK, renowned for its impeccable service, so keeping up to date with technology to improve the guest experience is imperative. The owner was keen to upgrade from Hotel Perfect’s Version 4 Property Management System (PMS) in order to benefit from additional features the Version 5 hotel management system had to offer. The Nare’s owner is very well versed in the I.T industry and has asked Hotel Perfect to design some bespoke features for the Nare in the past, to allow even greater control over the business. The Nare also wanted to install an Electronic Point of Sale (EPoS) module, to help make the guest dining and drinking experiences become even more fluid.

What We Delivered

The Hotel Perfect team upgraded the Nare Hotel’s all-in-one software solution from the previous Version 4 PMS to Version 5. There were several other modules added to the Nare’s PMS package, including call logging to allow bedroom telephone call charges to be easily added to the bedroom bill immediately. The EPoS system now means that guests can have more than just a bar tab; they can add anything from any area of the hotel onto their bedroom bill whenever they want. This eliminates the need to carry cash or cards, and lets guests focus on enjoying their indulgent stay.

The hotel’s has two main dining areas (the Dining Room and the Quarterdeck), as well as being able to accommodate guests in the cocktail bar and Drawing Room. All of the venues on site use the Hotel Perfect EPoS system and communicate spending effectively and immediately to the Version 5 PMS. The Nare also added an events and restaurant module to their all-in-one hotel software solution, in order to help with the planning of events and dinners.

The Nare are extremely passionate about technology, and asked Hotel Perfect to undertake another interesting project to make the Nare’s Wi-Fi even more streamlined and controlled. This saw Hotel Perfect work with world renowned Cisco Meraki to create a modern solution. The project marked an industry first and took major steps into developing the ultimate hotel Wi-Fi solution.
