Hunters Inn sits within a unique woodland location at the heart of Exmoor

Company Profile

Purchased by the National Trust in 2018, Hunter’s Inn lies at the heart of 2,000 acres of land in North Devon. The property features 10 en-suite bedrooms, alongside a bar and restaurant, as well as a two-bedroom self-catering apartment.

Originally a thatched cottage, the building was reconstructed in the “Swiss Style” at the height of the Victorian Era and is set within four acres of landscaped gardens, which form an idyllic backdrop for weddings and family events.

 

 

Client’s Vision

A client for over 10 years; Hunters Inn was recently purchased by The National Trust and is managed by Bespoke Hotels. Bespoke wanted to keep the essence of the brand with the principles and heart of The National Trust whilst bringing the hotel in line with their modern and forward-thinking approach. Having a joined-up solution that has the ability to be scaled up and added to was important to them. The solutions also had to be a technological bridge between the hotel and Bespoke who were the management company.

What We Delivered

Our implementation and training team delivered The Hunters Inn with a new cloud system over one week which included face-to-face training, software configuration and process consultancy. The hotel was fully open and running as normal whilst our team worked behind the scenes to complete a seamless migration from their old system to the new, cloud-based Hotel Perfect PMS. We also installed our fully-integrated Hospitality EPoS and Channel Management.

Our trainers stayed on-site so that they were there to handhold the team when needed and to ensure that all balances, records and bookings came across to maintain accuracy and reliable reporting right from the start.

Training was given on the systems to ensure all staff were aware of all the features and benefits and were confident to use and maintain themselves whilst Bespoke Hotels would be able to keep a hands-on approach from their offices due to the use of the Cloud aspect.

The team at Hunter’s Inn got to grips with the software really quickly and love how it has streamlined their job, especially in regards to connecting with various online channels through our Channel Manager.
