The Northwick is a 28-bedroom hotel in Evesham set amidst historical surroundings and houses an award winning steak house! AK’s Steakhouse sources top quality fresh local ingredients and is extremely popular among the locals and guests alike.
The Northwick also has a busy bar situated in the courtyard of the hotel, which offers some traditional ales as well as fine wines and soft drinks. The Northwick is popular for weddings and other celebratory events as well as catering for business conferences.
When the Northwick approached Hotel Perfect, they were unhappy with all the Property Management Systems (PMS) they had come into contact with—an unfortunate situation in the hospitality business. They had found that a lot of the hotel management system’s they’d used were lacking features and didn’t have a good user experience.
The Northwick was drawn to the Hotel Perfect hospitality management system because it looks good on the screen and offers a simple to use PMS with bundles of add on features which allows hotels to personalise their all-in-one hotel software solution. They were also keen to integrate the fully customisable Direct Booking software into their website to coordinate with their new Hotel Perfect PMS.
What We Delivered
The Hotel Perfect engineers were able to seamlessly integrate the Direct Booking manager into the Northwick’s website and allow it to communicate with the Hotel Perfect Version 5 cloud-based PMS. This offered another level of fluidity for guests booking a bedroom online and ensures that bookings are easy to track and seamless from the website to the PMS for the Northwick team.
The Hotel Perfect Version 5 cloud-based hotel PMS allows hotel owners to view their business’ statistics on the move anywhere in the world! All they need is a compatible laptop or PC and they can log in to the cloud-based hotel system’s user-friendly interface that displays all of the major figures. The Northwick owners now benefit from this feature and are able to make business decisions in the moment dependent on how the hotel is performing, wherever they are!
The Channel Management system and Dynamic Pricing module work together very effectively to automatically update bedroom prices dependent on availability and inform Online Travel Agents (OTA’s) of the price change so that prices are always matched across the board. The Events module in the hotel management system also allows the Northwick to plan many events and functions with ease and provides a place where all the relevant data can be stored easily and safely.
